CIP’s organisation is based on clear roles and responsibilities for the Senior Partners, Senior Management and the Partner Group and acknowledges our responsibilities to investors, industry partners and the communities in which we operate. Our organisation is designed to enable accountability and empower our employees while promoting efficient investment decisions and limiting internal bureaucratic processes.
CIP is majority owned by the four Senior Partners and Founders: Jakob Baruël Poulsen, Torsten Lodberg Smed, Christina Grumstrup Sørensen and Christian Skakkebæk. They have the overarching responsibility to the Limited Partners in CIP’s funds and oversee, and prioritise and set the strategic agenda across the company.
The Executive Committee focuses on overseeing and prioritising activities across CIP and sets the strategic agenda across the organisation. It constitutes Chief Investment Officer Mads Skovgaard-Andersen, Chief Operating Officer Martin Neubert and Global Head of Investor Relations Annabel Wiscarson.
CIP’s fund management is structured in three overall organisational areas: Investment & Investment Management, Investor Relations & Business Development and Fund Management. Investment & Investment Management is organised around each of the CIP funds and Investor Relations & Business Development is comprised of two teams tasked with building long-term relationships with investors and further developing our offerings to investors. Fund Management is made up of the several support functions necessary to underpin the daily running of CIP funds.
